Weekend #2

I served as a model for Geralogy.com.

I’m used to taking pictures of myself, whether it’s a selfie or asking someone to take a full body pic if my outfit is POPPIN!

However, it is completely different when you are being asked on a random day to be someone’s main attraction. Of course you are flattered, and you do your best to look good for the picture, but it can be quite challenging when you aren’t in charge of yourself during the shoot.

My cousin made me feel good doing it though, I definitely had fun! She knows we all admire her creativity and determination on anything she puts her mind on.

Weekend #3

My friend Walgelis, whom I went to high school with, came from Massachusetts to visit. Is so good to know that even with the distance, this long time friendship has never died.

For the first time in a lot of weekends, I didn’t have any plans. I was empty minded.

My cousin suggested us to go to the New Jersey Botanical Garden/Ringwood State Park. Best idea ever. It was refreshing and different from what she usually does.

Later that night, we planned to meet up for drinks with another high school friend. Guess what… he never showed up!

Lucky me anyway lol, I met someone special that same night. If our friend were there I don’t think he would have ever approached me. But this is a story to be continued later… Maybe.

Fin de semana # 2

Serví como modelo para Geralogy.com.

Estoy acostumbrada a tomarme fotos, ya sea un selfie o pedirle a alguien que la tome por mi cuando siento que me veo ¡En Punto!

Sin embargo, es completamente diferente cuando un día cualquiera te piden que seas el punto focal de una cámara. Por supuesto te sientes alagado, y haces tu mejor esfuerzo para quedar bien en la foto, pero puede ser difícil cuando no estás a cargo de ti mismo durante la sesión.

De todas maneras mi prima supo como hacerme sentir cómoda, y definitivaente ¡me divertí!

Ella sabe que todos admiramos su creatividad y empeño en cualquier cosa hace.

Otras cosas cotidianas ocurrieron durante este fin de semana, tales como en las fotos más arriba.

Fin de semana #3

Mi amiga Walgelis, con quien fui a la escuela secundaria, vino de Massachusetts a visitar. Es tan bueno saber que aún con la distancia y el tiempo esta amistad nunca ha muerto.

Por primera vez en muchos fines de semana yo no tengía ningún plan. Mi mente estaba en blanco.

Mi prima nos sugirió ir al Jardín Botánico / State Park Ringwood New Jersey. Mejor idea no pudo haber. Fue refrescante y diferente a lo que normalmente ella hace.

Más tarde esa noche, acordamos reunirnos con otro compañero de clases para tomarnos unos tragos. ¿Y que crees? … ¡él nunca apareció!

Suerte para mí de todos modos lol, conocí a alguien especial esa noche. Si nuestro amigo hubiera estado allí, no creo que se hubiera acercado. Pero esta es una historia que contaré después… Tal vez.
